Owner of dog killed in Bangor shooting faces charge

The owner of a dog who was fatally injured in a shooting in Bangor has been charged.

According to the Bangor Daily News, Samuel Robichaud was charged with allowing a dog to be at large.

The 8-year-old pitbull was shot by a neighbor Tuesday morning who said it ran aggressively at him and his toddlers who were playing in the driveway.

The dog did not survive its injuries despite efforts by veterinarians.
